There will be no charge for this workshop.

This is your chance to learn the new techniques needed for Varroa control,

Do not expect this workshop to be repeated -the regional bee inspector has a wide area to serve. DEFRA are providing these workshops nationally to train beekeepers for the future. In the case of resistant Varroa, the future has already arrived in Hertfordshire - resistant mites are spreading from the east of the county.

The executive committee considers that learning the new techniques for integrated Varroa management is the most important task facing Herts beekeepers in 2005.  Forget honey for a moment or your colonies could die this autumn.
